Dr. Julie Doyle, Human Computer Interaction researcher at CASALA, presented at the CARDI International Conference at Croke Park, on Wednesday 2nd November 2011. The talk, entitled "Closing the loop in Ambient Assisted Living - towards feedback and interventions to support health and emotional wellbeing" focused on the importance of not only monitoring older adults in their homes, but also providing them with feedback of the information learned from this monitoring, to support them in playing an active role in managing their own health.
